I was going to UT Austin - the main library had a bunch of his stuff (on display) for two semesters. There was even a tape from an Ed Sulivan show that looped over and over. Peter was drawing symetrical studies with a marker in each hand on a continuoulsy scrolling art board.

He was the consumate hippie!

>>I should have used "dithering", not many people can still recall Peter Max. He was a "pop" graphics artist in the 70s that did seamless transitions (dithers?) from ultra-lite colors to ultra dark ones! Like the sky at sunset: red to blue.
