"On July 18, business intelligence vendor Business Objects announced its intention to buy Crystal Decisions for $300 million in cash and approximately $520 million in stock."

Any thoughts on how this might affect Crystals relationship with MS and the Crystal ( now Business Objects ) tools that might be bundled with Visual Studio?

I've not worked with Business Objects products before. Does anyone have opinions on the company?
