I'm still a novice, and am not sure what you mean by: "does it pass the test of determining if it is of type CDataSet". What do I need to do to figure this out?

Also, yes, I didn't realize I was only looking at a subset of the sample code, and was able to locate the code for Chapter 10. I ran it, and the good news is that it work perfectly! What a relief. Now, I'll spend some time comparing the two to see where I went wrong.
