>Since when is a Red Neck an extremist?
>
>>You could say that Americans are naïve – even today to a great extend. Yes we have extremists such as Right Wingers, Red Necks and Survivalists. But the majority of citizens of this nation are easy going and not conditioned for war 24/7.

Wayne;

Depends upon your point of reference.

I remember hearing Billy Carter define the term “Redneck”. According to brother Billy, he said, “I have been accused of being a redneck. A redneck is a man that drives around in a pick up truck and drinks beer from a can while he is doing that. I wrap my beer in a paper bag”!

I cannot wait for someone to ask, “Since when is a Right Winger an extremist”?

I recently spent a week up in the area where my father grew up, Ukiah, Oregon. That is Survivalist country. In Ukiah being a Survivalist is a way of life. It is you against the government – any government. Being of the wrong persuasion can get you in trouble depending upon where you are. Some places are more tolerant of ones view point than others. What is left wing to one person may be right wing to another.
