Actually it is affected, Sergey.

And after further review I find that ....

GETENV('files') will return the correct number of files for NT/Win2k/XP, but does not work for WIN98 which returns a null.

We have a workaround of finding and opening the config.sys file on Win98 machines and just parsing for the 'files=' setting....

Just thought there might be a way to query it directly from the OS.
