Charles,
May I recommend using the code library feature in SharpTools, still in beta, still free.
www.ms-inc.net/sharptools The code library can be populated with frequently used code snippets or structures and inserted into your code with Ctrl+somekey functionality. The library is maintained in SQL server and can be populated with more than just keystroke macros and simple code snippets. Check it out.
I realize that I really didn't answer your question directly, but maybe this is a tool that will help you be more productive anyway. :-)
Keep up the good work on your website. I've been to it a few times and am enjoying your journey.
>Tried the sharpdevelop IDE and was please that when I typed a left curly bracket it put in the other bracket and put me indented in between them. Is VS .NET supposed to do this too or can it be taught to do it.

>( if somebody wants to really crank up their stats for MVP points watch for my name - I am so ignorant as I stumble through C# I'm gonna be pitching them slow and easy right over the plate for quite a while to come < s > )
