Win+L will lock the system - that is, it brings up your password protected screensaver if you have one. Win+M will minimize all, while Win+D will toggle the windows up and down. Win+F brings up the Find dialog. Win+R brings up the Run dialog.

I guess I rely heavily on my Windows key because I've got strongly ingrained habits. I hate having to move my hand to the mouse to bring up Explorer.
