Here in town they have 2 big distribution centers. One for shoes and the other for apparel. They give the product away to employees hoping that it will cut down on thefts. But every time there is a "new rage shoe" the trains that carry them are cut open and lots of the shoes are taken. The news has arrests of people getting caught wearing shoes you can't buy yet.

I hate the idea of giving a H.S. kid a contract for 80 million $ to wear ANY brand of shoes.

Nike is also a BIG sponser for competitive B.B. leauges across the country. They pay the coaches salary, in some areas that could be around 100,000.00 a year. It keeps the kids in a SHOE, and if they make it, that adult will now be sporting a NIKE.

If VFP had marketing like that!
