yes I can solve - with the complete class on my comp. ::( I guess this is not what you want.

Dealing with grid's events is often very tricky. Lot of eventfiring on simple movements.
I would suggest to trace your code with the EVENTLOG and COVERAGE function (available through the debugger and SET commands), so you can see the way your code is running. There is no sence to trace it using single step - the grid is not in focus when you singlestep so all is changed.

Both ways to trace will produce a huge textfile, be carefull placing the commands.

I would strongly recommend to understand the events of a grid if you do a closer look on grids (i.e. closer than just dropping one on a form ::)).
