Does anyone know if PHDbase is still available or what happened to it? I have an older version that I would like to upgrade and just curious to see if anyone was still maintaining it.

If it is not being maintained, then what does that do for the copy that I have, am I still allowed to distribute it with my programs? Am I also allowed to give a copy to a friend?
