Yes there are jobs but there is not a severe skills shortage.
For instance is you search on jobserve.co.uk for the past 2 days on foxpro it returns 7 jobs of which 6 are duplicate postings.
If you search on permanent positions again using foxpro as your keyword you will see most positions are on the low 20k bracket with a few up to 30k.
