Sorry to ask this hear, but this is driving me insane. Perhaps someone here can help me with this one. It has gotton so bad, it is slowing down my productivity.

Lately when I go to nearly any web site (using IE 6 sp1) it seems like I get an extra web page or two floating behind the one I went to (they are adds). If I search something on Yahoo or Google, its even worse. So, I spend a ton of time closeing these crazy windows.

Anyone have a clue how to stop this in IE? It seems like all this started when I had to update from IE 5.5x to IE 6 sp1.
