Joe,
I am nearly two years programming VFP and picked it up quite quickly. We have a senior foxpro developer in here, in Gerard O'Carroll, and between asking him questions and playing about i got familiar quite quickly. At the moment i am still developing my skills and the most helpful things that i have are the UT (have to get a quick plug in for Michael :-)), but more importantly for me as i do not have an always on connection is the help, which in VFP 7 and 8 is great, also the intellisence has helped me come along greatly. my background was localisation and web development not pure programming but i do have a degree in computer science so i had a programming base. if your two new converts are graduates then if you have the time let them play and learn, otherwise it may have to be a course. bye the bye i did read/watch the jim booth series, we have them on video, and this was quite good, but quite intense coming from not have programmed in a few years, some of the terms were quite unfamiliar and confusing.
Cheers

I have two new converts to VFP. I need to get them trained. Neither have programmed before. I note on the UT a miriad of training options. Any good or bad experiences please?
Thanks.
