There are some other solutions but I am not sure if you will be able to specifiy the exact cell location of data. Several different databases allow you to "SELECT INTO text.xls" within your query, but all this does is "dump" the data into the Excel file without formatting.

The easiest and most powerful solution is in the OWC, but you can't use them on a free server, unless the hosting provider has MS Office installed on the server.
