It's pretty close to second nature to me, but occasionally I do forget. If you see my response to Vlad, you'll see my thinking on how to deal with it.
BTW, I thought about what you said about not programming for "retry". I decided I wanted to have something built into my framework that would allow the developer or a trusted supervisor to retry. So I'm still trying to work it out.
