Hello Nadya
Sorry for the late response, just haven't had time to cruise the UT. It seems I am not having issues I can't figure out. ain't that great.

Yes, John and I go back a few years. He was a part of out users grouop here and we did a project together. We both lost a few head hairs over that one. I hung out with him and Ed Rauh at several Devcon's. I do miss Ed, we had some fun together. He had even visited us in Florida a couple of times. I am
sure you see more of John than myself lately. I haven't been to a conference in a couple of years. Florida govmt has cut budgets so much, gov employees don't get much at training these days.

Thanks for asking

>>>Hi Mohammed,
>>>
>>>I see, you already got a solution, but here is a FAQ by John Koziol, which works nicely for me: How to avoid Valid when a record is Canceled FAQ #7765
>>>
>>>One word of precaution - if your cancel button is located not on the form, but on some container, you should calculate position on the form still, so you should adjust the code a little bit.
