Yes but I know from bitter experience that calling COM objects written in VFP6 from SQL Server 2000 can cause horrendous problems - memory leaks and slow performance etc.

Even Microsoft in the UK had to admit that whilst it should work, no one else had done it when I tried it, and they were unable to get to the bottom of why it caused leaks etc.

COM support in SQL Server 2000 is a bit flaky I think.
