Craig is right on about clear the foxuser file. We used to have occassional problems with C0000005 errors. We decided to begin operating with SET RESOURCE OFF for a different reason, but I can say that since we did that (three years ago or so), we rarely if ever run into this problem. We have some clients with some older Compaq Deskpro's that have had the problem, but using the default MS video driver resolve that issue.

Therefore, I would recommend not using the resource file at all if you are not actually storing anything there. If you are, consider creating your own "resource file" to eliminate this. If that doesn't work, take a hard look at the video drivers, because these are the only two things I have ever encountered that would cause these errors on a user base of about 2000 using VFP 3,6 and now 8.
