One workaround, if you need a listbox with lots of items (which I think is nice sometimes, compared to a grid, if you want to be able to "quick scroll" throught the list): You can set RowSourcetype to Popup, and use a "Define Popup xxx Prompt Field" command to configure the contents of the listbox. This method only supports a one-column listbox, but the Define Popup command lets you configure what the contents of that column will be. This can include complex combinations of fields in one or more related tables. It's pretty fast, too.
