Well, I'm at the office now. I have finally reproduced the problem. On my WinXP machine at home, I cannot reproduce it, but here at work, on Win2k, when I choose 'Minimize All Windows' from the task bar right-click menu, all windows including the test form minimize, but when the test form restores itself, it appears as only a header bar in the upper left corner of the desktop.

If I resize it and recenter it (manually), then from that point on, it works properly no matter how I minimize it - even using the same method as above.

Very weird.

>Manual restoring (i.e: left-clicking on the taskbar icon) always works well. Only the programmatic restoring fails, but only in the case , described above.

>>>I reproduced the behavior in both VFP7 and VFP8 running under WinXP Pro SP1. After starting the form, the Show Desktop icon (or right-click taskbar, Show the Desktop) must be selected FIRST, before clicking the form's Minimize button, in order to reproduce the problem. If the form's Minimize button is clicked FIRST, then the problem will not exhibit itself, even when using the Show Desktop icon from that point on.

>>Runnning unger WinXP Pro, when I choose 'Show the desktop', all windows are minimized including that form. After 5 seconds, it reappears centered and properly sized. If I then click the minimize button (or even if I Restore it before the 5 seconds and then minimize it), it restores itself properly after 5 seconds.
