as i understand it, if you have a c$ on your drive then any system admin of a network that you log onto can view your drive

If you go to "machine's managment, folder's shared" you will see this: (at right-click on "my computer")

C$ - administrative
D$ - administrative

Both of them aren't for use of the end-user (us).. It is only for W2K's use..
