Another wrinkle. I put lnResult=REQUERY(lcAlias) in thinking that I was hitting 100%. As it turns out, in some case, I can have the exact same screen up, one running under VFP 8 development environment and the other a compiled version for the client. The one running under VFP 8 development environment works but the client version will not. I have gotten it down to where I can pull up the same record with the client version and developmen version running side by side. The development version lnResult=REQUERY(lcAlias) works but the client version does not.

This will be very difficult to reproduce as there are so many variables, however, I suspect the VFP 8 grid object is likely the cofactor at this point. I will keep you up to date as long as I pursue this. Meanwhile, I have instructed my client(s) to revert back to the VFP 6 version as this is a serious, serious issue.
