I get up around 0400 to get to work at 0630 so I have breakfast early. Normally, I can last until 1200 for lunch but I think the stress of my job is getting to me. At this point a vacation is in order!

By the way for the last two weeks we have had some crazy weather – coming from the Gulf of Mexico over Texas. We should have another three or four days of it they say. A tornado a few miles from me was spotted yesterday, with lots of lightning strikes for the entire period.

The clouds and rain showers have all been from the SE rather than the normal NW. Rain this time of year in California is not normal, but as you know nothing is normal out here. Every day is a new world.
