500 megs may be good or bad, depending on. . .

I had an app a few years back on FP2.5 /2.6 that had at least 5 tables regularly hitting the 2-gig limit. The total of all tables was over 30 gig.

We would have loved to have a 4 or 8 gig limit. Performance was super for over 300 users on Novell across 2 cities.

C/S has other factors which *I* believe to be more relevant than purely size alone. But one thing you can pretty well count on is that C/S will slow things down.
