Hi bob,

>"I just tried adding an ON ERROR STRTOFILE() immediately before the REQUERY(): the behavior stopped occuring. When I commented it out again, I saw the behavior return."

How about a DOEVENTS before REQUERY ?

>Bingo. Any wait state or other attempt to debug it will make the code work. If you compile a sample into an EXE, you will get reproducable result almost all of the time. As you enter WAIT states or function calls (which trigger events and thus wait states), you get more variability.

I'm worried about this bug because I've got a product to release later this year using REQUERY for remote views in VFP8. Did you submit all this to the VFP team? This definately need to be fixed in SP1. I don't care SP1 is in beta alread. This is BUG is so major that it needs a fix ASAP.
