>On Thursday I had an important interview at 2pm. So, at 10am I went to a Beauty Salon, which is located near my home. Since I am new to Columbus, I don't know much about such things and therefore just choose this one by its location. I asked to make a coloring in my natural color and a nice hairstyle.

>Well, here is what she had done. She colored my hear in the color much darker than my natural color, she cut them extensively, though I asked don't cut and she put a lot of laquer on my hair, which I dislike (in another Beauty Salon in Boston the hairdresser (very professional) used foam and I thought, that's the usual american practice). So, essentially she did everything not as I asked. Finally she told me to pay $45. I did and for a moment forgot about tips, which she reminded me... So, I gave $5 as a tip.

>Now, I don't like, what I currently have. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. What should I do? Should I let it go or can I do anything about it?
>
>Thanks a lot in advance for your advices.
Well, first, you should tell her exactly what you just tell us here. So, at least, the first part would be done in order to provide them what you didn't like. Then, if they don't react, you could still ask for an upcoming free service such as the one you just had if they don't offer you another one or reimbursment, fully or partial. But, go to them first, let them know. Maybe she was new over there and maybe the owner is not even aware of that.
