Everything from the code you sent me seems to working fine with the exception of the foreach line. Since I started my project in vb, that's what I'm sticking with until I begin a new assignment. Anyway, I can't get this line entered without an error:

For Each dr tr_chkdate In DSfatrans.Tables("fatrans").Rows

Right now, it's not recognizing tr_chkdate, but that is the actual field I assigned to that column within the grid. This is the column in my grid that I need to check for null dates. Do I need to Select tr_chkdate and put it into a variable?
