I have a client running VFP daily without that issue. However, in my program I'm controlling the temp dbf's completely (at least the ones that my program uses). Do you think the problem is from VFP creating it's own temps? If so it maybe something to do with the tmp directory/folder and permissions. BTW I don't set the location of temp files to the users $HOME directory - but to "/tmp" - which is the normal place to create temp files. I hope this helps.
