VB Learning Edition: Not much you can do
VB Pro: The usual version
VB Enterprise: same as Pro but with Client/Server features:
RDO for accessing SQL Server & Oracle Databases
DCOM for multi-tier COM
Visual SourceSafe

If you can afford it, buy the Enterprise Edition.
