Just a guess but I think the set sysmenu call is what's killing you. Set step on should do it.
>Ever since I moved from VFP 6 I have had a debugging problem. I am using VFP 7 SP 1 on Win2000. I debug inside a Foxpro frame. I almost invariably initiate a debugging session by placing the commands-'Set sysmenu to defaults' and 'Set step on' in my code. I am able to step thru the code and find problems with out any difficulty. However, if I tell the program to resume about 90% of the time VFP just shuts down and I am back to the desktop. Is there any setting I can change to avoid this??? Thanks.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
