>Derek, have you removed all APP files from your various workstations? VFP assumes you have EITHER and APP OR an EXE. If you have both, do to copying files from one workstation to another, you may have a very confused VFP. Check ALL folders for copies of the APP and re-name or delete them.

Thank you Barbara for your help. Yes I have renamed all of the .app files
on the foxpro development workstation including those used by foxpro itself,
which I'll need to restore to .app staus as many foxpro functions depend on them. There must be some other place that foxpro sees you have created
an app file. Also why would you use an app file instead of an exe, I only die
so to see what it did and now I wish I hadn't.
