From .Net choose deploy application from the menu and select the device instead of the emulator. this will copy over the framework (if needed) and the files for the application.

I am trying to install a .net smart device application on my Symbol PPT 2800 device.

I cant seem to install the application on this device.
This is what I have tried.

(1) I have created cab files, copied them to the Device and tried running it.
(2) Created Setup.exe files, copied them to the device and tried to run the executable. I receive an error: " Program is not a valid Pocket Pocket PC application.

(3) I have tried installing the application on my machine and used ActiveSync with its add/remove programs to try and install the test application. ActiveSync does not even show the application.


Anyone have any idea on how to install an application on a mobile device.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
