Another way of doing this is to copy records from a table (dbf) to an unformatted Excel spreadsheet (Copy To YourUnformattedSpreadSheet Type Xl5) that will serve as a source of data to an existing formatted spreadsheet that has links to it.

This way of doing things allow you to have very complex formatted spreadsheets binded to raw ones, generated by your program under user control.
