I find that the same set of 23 tags created on a particular table produce

a 1,134,080 byte CDX file in VFP6
a 2,140,672 byte CDX file in VFP7
a 1,097,216 byte CDX file in VFP8.

Does anyone know why the CDX is so much larger in VFP7 and suddenly shrinks again in VFP8?

In addition there is some indication that the larger CDX in VFP7 may be causing a dramatic slowdown when multiple users are running the VFP7 EXE across a network.
