Of course you do. It still doesn't mean they're right. :-) I currently
work for a MCSP which does programming work in Visual Studio. This usually
means VFP. However, it doesn't mean that we won't use other tools as
appropriate: there are several people who are fluent in VB and Access.
However, for a larger project, we would rarely consider anything besides a
VFP front end, unless there were a compelling reason to use VB/C++
(non-standard interface, for example). VFP has too much power on both the
front and back end to be dismissed lightly.
We have started moving our database design from Fox to xCase, because of
various limitations of the DB Designer, but that's an exception. (Besides,
xCase is a
sweet tool... :-)
