Ok, I was hoping you were going to reply with an unknown function to abort the sleep api--hope springs eternal. I've switched to using the sleep api everywhere and it's been pretty reliable. I have not experienced any problems. However, I imagine there must be times when you want to be able to abort it or bypass it somehow...at least in development mode and when testing...
