What version of VFP?

>I have been struggling trying to duplicate the VB examples provided by Crystal Decisions which tap into the SectionFormat events to dynamically load a picture. Has anyone had any success with this and have any hints on how to proceed?
> As a little ackground, up until now I have been using an OLE linked image in the report. This USUALLY works, but the client has recently upgraded to Win2K Pro and now it has stopped working. It worked on my system under Win2K, and continues to work on my system under XP Pro. On those systems at the client that still have Win98, it works. Image format is BMP, the file is being put into place, and I can open it via Windows Explorer on the affected systems - there is a valid and working file association for BMP files on these systems. Still, I have always felt this was a kludge to get around the one big shortcoming in Crystal 8.x. I haven't upgraded to CR9 yet, and the client can not at this time because of another application which will not support CR9 at this time. And there is absolutely no way to create a report with this complexity using the native VFP Report Writer.
