thanks a lot, this helped me search in the right direction! Actually we just used framework stuff to instantiate so we didn't fall over this.
With the answer of Doug we are perfect.

>Try to not instantiate ActiveX controls at run-time - you will need license, which comes with Visual Studio/VFP, but not with installation you create. Instead, create subclass, as explained in "AddObject Method" topic of VFP help.
