I have a somewhat small table with only a little over 400 records and only about 17 fields and only about 7 (small) indexes. At one point, I wanted the table to reorder the record number to match an index so I used the index and did a copy to. The table copied fine and all the data seems fine, a pack and reindex was performed. Now, all of a sudden, the table takes about 4 or 5 seconds longer to open in code (dataevironment or use command) and even does the same interactively when I try to open it from the command window in VFP8. The same thing occured in VFP7 before I updated to VFP8.

Does anyone have an idea what would cause the table to take much longer to open now after the copy to created a new table?
