Thanks for your personal opinion Kevin. I tend to agree with you. We only have 3 VFP developers in house and all 3 have EACH been programming for greater than 10 years--a couple of us are getting on 20 years each. So far I am leaning towards FoxTalk but for the $, each FoxTalk magazine is really focused and not as broad-based but still packed with examples as say the Delphi Informant Magazine. Personally, I would like to see the Foxtalk and Code articles in the Foxpro Advisor magazine...That would be a GREAT magazine!

>>If you had to choose ONLY ONE professional development magazine that focused on VFP TODAY for your IT shop, what would it be and why? I used to receive Advisor but now I receive FoxTalk and Code personally. I feel all three are good magazines. Which one do you feel gives more 'bang for the buck' for a group of developers whose primary tool is VFP (we also use Delphi and some ASP now too)

>># of technical examples or downloadable code
>>information on troubleshooting/tips/techniques
>>new technology and 3rd party tools
>>integrating the tool with other tools and technologies
>>integrating VFP with different backends

>>Thanks for anyone willing to put in their .02 worth!

>We use to get advisor, and not to offend anyone from there, but I wouldn't give my .02 for it. I have not tried any other ones since then, so I do not know what Foxtalk and Code are like. Course I have been programming since I was a just a little guy, so maybe it would have been good for a beginner...

>Of course, I would rather use universalthread then try to find anything in a magazine.

>Was that at least .02 worth hun? :)
