I have report that shows many line items, and then a subtotal for every agent.

I'd like to give the user the option to either show the detail lines, or to suppress the detail lines and just show the subtotals. I know how to make each column in the detail band 'invisible', but I don't know how to actually suppress the horizontal space for the detail band.

The end result is that there's a great deal of 'white' space between the subtotals. I'd like to be able to suppress this so that all the subtotals will fit on one page.

I know I can do this with Crystal Reports pretty easily, but haven't figured out a way in the VFP report writer. My only workaround is to have two different FRX files, one for details and a 2nd for summary.

Any suggestions?
