The file I need to locate is not in the VFP path. My situation is this: My VFP app automates a CADAM drawing program. Sometimes this CADAM app is on the c:\ drive somtimes on d:\ drive. I is in a directory called CCDRAFT sometimes and CCD on others. The one sure thing is the name of the exe file that starts the CADAM app. I want to find the directory that this exe resides in when on of my VFP apps start. Right now I have a table which holds the user/computer id and the path to the proper files. When a user trades computers or get a new one I have to adjust the path(a lot of manual input). I need it more automated.
