Yes, this is how they have been running for quite a while. The trick is coming up with something at my customers end that can help the process of getting the orders into the system. If only the computer could listen to the orders given over the phone, and enter them itself ....

Perhaps we'll try OCR for the ones that get faxed back, as someone else here has suggested.
