I have a statement faxing program that works perfectly until the faxretries property is set to 1 (or any value other than zero). I have tried changing various values for the faxretryinterval property to no avail.

What happens is that the FaxStatus event does not change. I fax to a phone number that I know is not a fax and the status of "Waiting for answer..." stays on the form and no retry is attempted. (I have also tried faxing to an number that is engaged)

I am using VFP7 and W2000 and as I said earlier the program works (failures are trapped and reported) perfectly when not using the retries.

Please help
