Bruce;

At 0620 there was a Chemical Emergency Alert at the Chevron Plant in Richmond. “Richmond, North Richmond and San Pablo residents go indoors immediately. Place wet towels along any door openings. Do not go outside! Do not use the phone unless it is an emergency”! Terrorists? No, it is just a chemical problem at the Chevron Plant up the street from where you were raised.

Here is an idea. Move the refineries to Sacramento where the State Capitol buildings are located. Sell the land (very prime) and pay off the states debt. When the refineries have their next chemical emergency no one will care!

Arnold should win without a problem. People are so fed up with all the garbage we have had to deal with. It is not Gray Davis that is the problem; rather it is the system itself!

Last night Governor Ventura was on the tele and said, “Arnold, what are you thinking”? Governor Ventura then described the negatives running for and being governor and the media was just one of them!

With one person at the head of government who owes nothing to anyone it is like “odd man out”! What do you do with the hoards of state assemblymen, senators, clerks, lobbyists, and assorted political flunkies? This should be interesting.

As with Minnesota, I think California is fed up with “politics as usual”! For better or worst we are about to have a change I am sure. Being a Democrat does not mean I like the system. In fact if there were 200 political parties I would seriously question the intent of all of them! All political parties are self serving entities that could care less about society. The “me only mentality” is absolute! :)
