CREATE SQL VIEW Temp_Agent_details CONNECTION arcview AS ;
	SELECT *;
 	FROM Agent_Details_001  ;
    	WHERE Agent_Details_001.datetime = ?this.startdate

However I think this would be better (not based on an object's existence) - thinking you need to create this once :

CREATE SQL VIEW Temp_Agent_details CONNECTION arcview AS ;
	SELECT *;
 	FROM Agent_Details_001  ;
    	WHERE Agent_Details_001.datetime = ?dStartDate

Then you could use it like this :

dStartDate = {^2003/02/25}
use myDBC!Temp_Agent_details

dStartDate = {^2003/01/14}
requery('Temp_Agent_details')
