Hi Andrus,

That's interesting, I hadn't noticed VFP's script omission.

I don't think it's absolutely correct that Fox always uses a font corresponding to current codepage (returned by cpcurrent()). When I chose Arial Cyrillic, I get Arial Cyrillic, but this is the seaparte distinct font, different from Arial. On this machine, it's ARICYR.TTF as opposed to ARIAL.TTF, but there are others.

Note that these are Windows fonts, not third party fonts. I stronly recommend against third-party fonts... Anyway I got my fonts by "font-mining" in the Microsoft Developer Netword Universal Subscription (INTL) which comes with more foreign laguage versions of MS products that I can possibly use.

I am able to assign these different fonts to different grid columns without problems. Just kick me if you know this already: maybe check SET NOCPTRANS.
