this. Never have done any astrophotography myself - looks like another money black hole :-) I do have a friend that gets some amazing shots with just a tripod and a few lenses. If I'm sinking that kinda dough into a hobby I want a CCD with autoguider and sit in my living room on those cold winter nights! And have the butler change optics for me :-)
