That is actually a feasible approach and would make it pretty simple for storage and retrieval. You could even go as far as encrypting or encoding it into the database fields if you are really security concerned.
I would not recommend the SendKeys method mentioned on this thread for the upload though. I am not a big fan of kludges, especially around security barriers.
