Thank you for your reply.

Re: the requirement to recompile the new .exe, I should state that I am using Windows NT 4.0 SP 6 and very definitely, you cannot work with .fxp's. I have tried it over and over again and I do not get the new screens even when I rebuild the application. I do not get the new screens until I recompile the .exe . I should also tell you that Windows NT 4.0 does not support other features such as wwsession and wwpdf50. These were not small problems that could have been solved with a tip from a classmate. I hired a consultant (well known in the WC Forum) who came into my machine through PC Anywhere and he could not get these things to work on my machine either. I could buy another computer with NT2003 and transfer everything but I have ended up developing my own tools that deal with the NT 4.0 limitations.

Having said all of that, I have looked at the agenda and did see a number of Web oriented items of interest and I was about to book myself in, until I found that my sister from England is visiting me that week.

I agree with you that I do not go to enough conferences and I will definitely go next year. In the meantime I have found that the WC Forum and this forum do provide a great deal of valuable assistance to people who do not get out to a lot of conferences.

Re: learning VB and VB.net to take advantage of the best tools, Marcia I am not getting any younger. I only have a few more years at this game. When VFP becomes obsolete, I will probably hang up my spurs.
